Well, even though it doesn't really fit the style for the festival its worth the 80 bucks to say we entered. Once we get word on our submission we will be able to provide a date for public release.

Sony has a little camera out. Its a DSLR. Takes an adapter and then it can accept full size lenses. We shot some of our feature with it and it worked great. I think color grade as well as difference in it. If you want to highlight a war type color grade system you need to also have some parts to contrast as well. That being said, in my opinion it fits well for current day stuff. If the film is set in the past then the whole film may have a set color...

I hadnt really told anyone. Was just gonna let it roll off like it got completed by him. Really was a question if it was ok to fire and replace him or if i needed to go ask him back. And how about credits? He directed about half very poorly.

As a side note we are working on credits today. Just figured out it was bigger than i thought. Credited over 130 people. Wow!

Our second director did mostly locked down shots and they looked and edited amazing.

Oh and Mr Gonzo, of course I put him on a contract both limiting his pay and his ability to dispute credits given to him. Of course he wants credit as the director even though he only directed a portion of the film. He does music videos and they are great, jumpy wild camera all over the place...
