Is this a good synopsis and logline?

It sounds a bit like Cowboys and Aliens.

$10,000 budget - can I do it on this?

http://www.lensrentals.com/ This place does wonders. You should be able to do your entire shoot using this place. Use excel and actually list out a schedule, and tie in a budget with that schedule. Do not ask the cast to bring in their own equipment, unless you plan to compensate them.

    Magic Lantern failed me!

If you have a laptop, I suggest always keeping that with you when you shoot. Reset your firmware, and re-install ML. You should always be able to have control over your camera in the EOS mode. Technicians use it as a way to override the original card settings. ML is just a firmware override...

Need some advice about a camera...

@ Directorik, At this point and time, I do not need a camera. While I do have to itemize what I need, a camera really was just wishful thinking. But, I am going to stick to animation for a while. When I need more money from our investors, and when we are ready to put a screenplay together, I...

@mfparcher, and MaximusXXX, The first thing you have to realize, when dealing with 3rd-party copyright infringements, is that you still have to purchase what is called a Synchronization License. Remember, this license does not grant you permission overall; it only allows you to come into...

    My little intro. . .

Hi there, Thanks for the welcome. Yes, that silly reference was from the infamous Monty Python. @Directorik, and anyone else interested, First and foremost, it is difficult to find both experienced help and those willing to work for free. I have performed in community plays that were...

    Narrative Help Needed

Will this help? I use Mixcraft for the sound effects and recording my piano and such into it. The program is about $120.00 and is my favorite. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z-bOC0-Hbu0

    My little intro. . .

Hi there, :hi: I will start with my name."There are some who call me . . . Tim?" Okay, enough of that. All can call me Tim. First, I will state why I am here. I am here to network, learn as much as possible from those who are both critics and well-experienced, and suck the knowledge out of...
