I don't think it's the fault of the feature market so much as it's a problem of distribution. Getting their grimy little hands into the creative process, film executives with no experience in film but holding degrees in marketing, decide key changes in the film for what they consider marketing...
I always find a main source of conflict comes from when your protagonist solves something, but inevitably makes things worse, either because they are enlightened to that new piece of information or leads them to become the "outsider".
Also, here are some questions that come to mind: what are...
Yeah, seems a little un-carpernter like. Sort of this new crap ass horror stuff. Ah, run, hide, trip, fall, boobs, split up, split up again, stay here, AHAHAH, run back, dead... last one alive, run run, just make it, sequel, da da da.

Yeah that one plus "Camel Spiders" will be out on Syfy soon too. Both of them are Roger Corman distributed. Cool old cat he is.
Once Piranhaconda comes out they are talking about a Sharktopus vs Piranhaconda film... Should be epic!!
Cool film and wait to go for actually getting something done. Too many people talk about it and never do it. So good on you for that!!!
I do suggest getting a couple of books on editing, story telling, and directing to help you learn some of the basic rules of filmmaking. Once you know all the...
