Which Beacktek kit to keep?

(sorry for the misspelled title, doh!)
OK, after uncle sam paid back the no interest loan I was forced to give, I went on a buying spree. Or rather, bidding spree. I ended up with potential redundant kit.

I have three items:
DXA-6
DXA-10
SVu-2

All three are cool and useful in their own way.

The DXA-6 is dead simple to use. Plugs right into the cameras mic input with a fixed cable. Has Line in option.

The DXA-10 has a few more features, line out and camera mic level, has channel pad.

The SVU-2 is good metering and headphone amp.

I have a real hard time getting rid of gear, I always seem to regret it, but I could raise a few bucks towards a decent shotgun mic.

For sure, Im keeping the SVU-2. The headphone amp on my camera is just TOO quite. Plus it got lots of blinkies, which is good.

The choice is between the DXA-6 and DXA-10.

Seems the DXA-10 has MORE flexibility. I could be used as a preamp for ANY field recorder, it has a belt clip. (I have it mounted in this cool box thing, but it comes out easy) Paired with the SVU2 its an complete on the hip sound guy level and monitoring solution. That does double duty as camera mounted preamp\headphone amp.

But the DXA-6 is so MADE for cameras that its hard to use it. Its just simple, and I like simple.

.. or cash in the whole lot and get a zoom 4hn?

Comments?

uhmm well i cant help much on which one to get i have a BeachTek DXA-2S and that gets the job done for me. No need for phantom power. :/ but, i can tell you something about the zoom doom. There is no practical reason to buy it for just messing around. The upside of it is you get a much higher quality of sound but the down side is you have to worrie about two machines when your shooting and then sync them up every-time in post.... NOT WORTH IT TO ME! im perfectly fine with camera recorded audio thank you very much =D, im not shooting block busters, just smaller things. So thats my advice, hope it helps!
