L LDS Mar 1, 2014 #1 Can anyone recommend good equipment insurance company (in UK)? I had an accident yesterday (my tripod broke and fell and my camera hit the ground) now Im without a tripod and damaged camera. Does anyone know good insurance company? Now I realised I need one!

jax_rox Mar 1, 2014 #5 Many home/contents insurance will cover equipment when out of the house for a higher premium. Might be cheaper than specialised insurance - but it depends on what equipment you've got, and how much of it.
