This was a spur of the moment, no concept thing we shot in my house.

Its all lit with one china ball with a 60 watt incandescent....

Shot on a GH2 and a Canon...
28mm & 50mm FD lenses.

It's funny I have quite a few lights including a set of halogen and a set of fluorescent soft boxes with c-stands.... I used a $7 paper ball with a household bulb and someones jacket as a flag for the entire shoot..:hmm:

Keep it simple I guess...

I'm shooting a proof of concept video in a few weeks that will need to look like it is shot in moon light. I'm building a grid from small diameter PVC pipe that will hang 9 china balls (fluorescent). I'll suspend that over the actors and vary the height until I get something I like. Tim Burton lit Sleepy Hollow (on a much larger scale) like that and I always thought it was creepy...
