More Body Parts Delivered as ‘Canadian Psycho’ Languishes in German Jail

"Grisly packages were delivered to two Vancouver schools on Tuesday, potentially bringing a horrifying murder investigation back home to Canada.

Vancouver police deputy chief Warren Lemcke told reporters that a package containing a human hand was delivered to False Creek Elementary School early Tuesday afternoon. The school’s principal told the Globe and Mail that a secretary received the “suspicious, smelly package,” and it was soon reported to the police. An hour later, another package containing human foot was delivered to the private boy’s school St. George’s. (A third package discovered in Montreal, containing what appeared to be a human foot, was later determined to be fake.)"

Personally, I'm betting this sort of thing actually goes on all the time. I mean, seriously, there are seven billion people on the planet. Are we seriously supposed to believe that four or five stories of cannibalism equals a new trend?

We're just seeing more reported now since one story (a very sensational one about a naked guy eating someone's face in public) got millions of hits/views and sold lots of 'papers.'

Now every reporter + their mothers are looking through police blotters for more cannibalism stories. Why? Because they sell.

It's all about the $$

Just my theory, though.

Prime Minister of Canada got the foot. The head has to go someplace special. How messed up is it, to even have that thought?

Lifetime or one of those networks will create a worthless bio pic. No slasher or splatter flick (probably a dozen in the works right now) will compare to the real thing.

Magnotta has started a new trend. This is only the first. It'll only get worse from here. Just as Columbine started the school massacre trend, this will start the on-line snuff industry.

My boss is a hockey fanatic. I knew there were fights in hockey, but I never knew it was actually part of the game. So, one of his favorite things to do is search youtube for fights. The amount of violence being perpetrated just in fast food places in the US is unbelievable. These are our future Magnottas.

Thanks ray. There's a lesson to be learned here. If your face is being eaten for 18 minutes blocks away and it's all captured on film, it's okay for children to watch. Because they can use their imagination while watching the violence.

I forgot what show it was. It was on ID (I am an ID fanatic, best channel out of the thousands available). I only caught the last half of this show. But, it was a great case delving into the mind of young people today.

Two young girls are working in a clothing store. The store next door hears commotion. Do they call the cops? No. They call mall security, who doesn't even bother to check out the complaint. Later on, one of the girls is found dead (beat over the head 300 times), the other dragged to the backroom, bound with plastic ties , raped, slashed and left for dead.

The first strange thing the police noticed (days later) was the bloody footprints never left the store. The sneakers that made the prints were sitting on a rack. Weird. Then they decide (again days later) to check the hospital report on the rape victim. There was no signs of rape.

The second girl never confessed. But, she did it. She was smart enough (not) to stage the scene as if it were intruders (footprints, slashed, victim's car stolen, rape, bound herself with those ties). Yet wasn't smart enough to fool the cops. Simply amazing what kids come up with nowadays.

Motive? She was stealing from the store and instead of being embarrassed about being fired and possibly arrested. She decided it'd be easier to commit murder.
