RED has new prices for all their cameras. Still expensive still to expensive for me but their prices are keeping themselves competitive.

it appears that i'm one of the few that has done hes research right. yes, it does record 24fps.
it can record "up to 30fps" at 4K resolution, and 12 fps at 5k. so "up to" means everything in between

Lol. It would be funny if a cinema camera didn't have the standardized frame rate.

The scarlet discount was nice, but the Epic (and R1MX) was significantly better, so much so that I think a lot of people will be debating the concept of going straight for Epic.
