daddy braggin rights. Thats my daughter with the mic. (freshman in HS)

all here idea, I just ran camera... she directed produced etc.

Is that what she wants to do? Or is it just a HS project?

My daughter did a number of video projects when she was in HS - and it took every ounce of my self control not to help or comment.

were plenty weird, but in a good way!

It was an off the hip idea she had. I was going to drop here off and go do play with cameras elsewhere, but she said she wanted to do a "411 report" (internal HS news show they broadcast everyday) I got a small set of gear to gather, taught here how to use the recorder while we drove, she did the rest. Of course I encouraged every step of the way.

I regularly help with math, science, music (not spelling cause Im not that guy!) and other subjects, so NOT helping with video would be odd.

EDIT:
Oh, the report was on a school field trip to "Whiskey Creek Fish Hatchery" Near Tillimook Oregon, where the community gets together and clips the adipose fins off of hatchery salmon. Strangely enough, nobody could remember the name of the fin, even the two rangers could only come with "its starts with an A" good stuff on camera, she also had a lot of fun asking ridiculous questions about genetically modified fish having super powers. It was funny bit.

Sicily and I whipped that up just now. The "effects" are just noise from shooting at ISO 1600 on the GH2. CC by colorista free. She was seated at the dressing table, I shot her through mirror, which has a nice patina (read that as "grubby")

She wanted to do this in response to this challenge http://www.atlasshruggedpart1.com/IAmJohnGalt

Shes the only HS Junior I know whose read Atlas Shrugged.. her first "date" is this weekend, and after the boy and I clean some guns they are going with mom down to a TAX protest and then to the theater to see the movie on opening night (sans mom of course). :)
