Don't be making no assumptions. You will need to get close to God first, then we can start.
Okay, you know this generaly NOT how the film industry works, right? We are needing God loving investors to help us raise sixty five thousand dollars in order to get this screenplay written. This movie is slated to take 3 million to produce and is called "Grain Of A Mustard Seed".
How much money are you attempting to raise... ?

THE ADVENTURES OF EDITOR MAN!!!!!!Hang on, a fire that makes it impossible to see or breathe...
Sometimes "Yes!" http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=fireproof.htm & http://boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=facingthegiants.htmI always like the concept of a Christian film, because there are so many terrible preachy ones out there, and I'd love to watch an actual good one. It's a paying market. Don't knock it.
The Apostle with Robert Duvall was excellent. But that's it. Baskin Robins 31 flavors something for everyone.
I didn't like Avatar $2B worth. Go figure.
Two preachy ones I can recommend are http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bella_(film) & http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_Poole_Is_Here
The film industry doesn't like those types of risks. Right. But this isn't for Hollywood. It's a niche market thing, and there's a steady demand for it within that niche.
Filmmaking is commercial, even if people doesn't want it to be. True, but religious films aren't so much commercial as they are evangelical.
Is it able to make $3,000,000.00 back? Pray.
Lol. And Ramboshaw, Life of Pi is a spiritual film, involving three religions that wasn't preachy. Not sure if I like your sarcasm ...
