I'm the writer/director/producer of the zany indie comedy film, "Assisted Fishing".
Assisted Fishing
An immature moron dreams of beating his lifelong rival in a big fishing tournament. In order to get the money for the entrance fee, he takes a job watching over the wacky residents of a run-down assisted living home. In an attempt to impress a visiting female social worker, he takes them all fishing. Comedy ensues, tragedy strikes and he discovers that his dream of winning the fishing tournament may not be the most important thing in life after all.
I would like to submit the DVD to bloggers or anyone who does online reviews. Also, I'm using an online service called Distrify that allows people to purchase the movie directly from the embedded trailer. Distrify enables people who share the trailer to make $1 every time someone purchases the movie from the trailer embedded on your site.
I am trying to get the film some recognition. I'm currently self-distributing, and people can buy the DVD from the movie's website at
