Pretty much, whenever someone's absolutely "sure" about something like being "children of the Next Level" or "Special People" they often find out - Nope! Wrong! Just another group of idiots. And that's okay.

Being okay about other people being idiots is the biggest hang-up for most, which strangely enough... also makes them idiots.

The same thing that everybody did the day after all the other "end of the world" dates throughout history. They'll say they miscalculated and change the date to some point in the future. If they were smart, they'd pick a date that would obviously be after they died so they wouldn't be around for everyone calling them out on being wrong.
 
What are the rest of us going to do if it turns out they're right? Best hedge your bets..

Live the rest of the week like a saint. Turn away from your sins, get Jesus and all that. Heck, its just a few days... how hard can it be to not download internet porn or three days!

If they're right you'll be ahead of the game, if not, you can have a big party on Sunday. lol
 
WAIT.. in what time zone will the end start? If its the holly land, then in the States we only have till Friday right? Us west coasters are getting ripped off of an entire day of repentance!

Pretty sure that doesn't need commas. ;) Could be wrong.

In answer: The same thing they always do. Explain in sadness how true day and time are <<unknowable by man, not written in stone>> and then commence looking for another point in the future upon which to focus their attention.

So, has anyone managed to track down Harold Camping yet? Last I read his Family Radio office was shuttered, the radio was just looping music, and Camping is nowhere to be found. No one is returning phone calls.
 
What always amazes me is that these religious zealots claim they base their findings on what they read in the Bible, yet the traditional Christian teaching is that no one will know the day or the time.
