Inspiring Films

From a different perspective...

As a "sound guy" (I do audio post) the following taught me a lot:

Star Wars IV
Forrest Gump (also a personal fave)
Saving Private Ryan
Eraserhead
The Incredibles
Ratatouille
The Green Mile
The English Patient
Apocalypse Now
The Illusionist
Master and Commander
The Hunt For Red October
Titanic
Hero (Ying Xiong [2002])

The Man Who Would Be King.

Makes me want to go to a lost region and convince the locals that I am Alexander the Great's son, while I loot their treasure. Sean Connery and Michael Caine shined as a beacon to scoundrels worldwide.

My own private idaho.

Beautifully shot and great acting.

Made a big impact on me.

Oh, and Control (Ian Curtis biopic). You can tell a photographer directed it, all the shots are perfect.
