I have to choose a title:

I like Devils Blood. But I expect a ton of blood!

Demon seed makes me think of a horror porn. With an emphasis on porn lol

Sawmillers daughter sounds like a drama for 45+ audience. "I love you Jack!" type of a deal.

I'd go with #3. The first seems sorta generic, the second a little better (though there was a film in the 70s with that name). The third makes you wonder "what ABOUT the Sawmiller's Daughter?"

well, there's going to be paperwork drawn up, and I always think it's more formal if the script has a title.

But I'm not crazy about any of them. The word "daughter" does insinuate drama.

I like the word "Maiden".

Devil's Maiden?

Mind you, A LOT of people outside the internet, i.e. in "real" life, have voted for Sawmiller's Daughter.

It's just the word "daughter" I don't like. It softens it.

And I'm really really notoriously terrible at making up my mind over titles.

There are a few horror films with daughter in the title (Daughter of Satan and Daughters of Darkness come to mind). I don't disagree that it does seem like it could be a drama. And it's that bit of genre dissonance that makes it seem more interesting.

Say you're looking for a horror movie. There are countless titles with death and blood and the devil. Anything that seems a little unusual is going to stand out from the crowd.

If you don't like it, you don't like it, but don't be afraid to be "soft" in the title. Contrast is a good thing, and can make the total package that much more intense!

Alright, thanks.

My motto is, you fight for it, you get it.

And it's got a theme in it about the destruction of the planet being reflected in the destruction of innocence .... thing, and the word "daughter" is also innocent.

Thanks for the little push, lol

I'm crazy for one word film titles. And I believe it works very well with horror films.
Jaws, Alien, Saw
Not knowing anything about the film it's hard to vote on which title, but from the three Sawmiller's Daughter sounds best, but still a bit amateur.

It isn't high concept. And I don't know if you can say any word, or combination of words sound amateur.

I think if someone had turned up here wanting to call their film "aliens", a lot of people would have said it doesn't describe anything, and there are squillions of movies about aliens, what makes yours special.

The title will probably change again anyway.

I'm not uptight about it. It's just a formality. And a little bit of torture I afford myself.

I really wish no one had used the word "badlands" in a title ever. Apart from that, these are the only three that capture something of it. I've toyed with phrases. You know, like,

Shed the Devil's Blood.

I might flick through a bible.

But I really appreciate all the feedback.

Not to mention Dracula's Daughter and Frankenstein's Daughter.

:D
