Hey,

Just finished my Media university course,

Finally finished my first full short film independently,

Would love some feedback on it and any other ideas/projects in the future!

Plus I look forward to joining in to help others!

How long was your Media course? And what did it focus on, aspect-wise?
 
Hi Zensteve,

It was 3 years long, I did a joint honours course, so it was half media, half sociology.

In Media, the first year it was all group work, we learnt how to use dreamweaver, adobe prem, photoshop and made a short video and website.

In the second year it was skills building and had to put a portfolio together of editing other peoples work to create new meaning, experimenting with sound to put in to a video with out any audio, being a Foley artist and to create 2 short films as groups.

In the final year, we could choose to specialise in web, photography or video. I chose video as I have always been passionate about film making, and it would be independent! So I created my first video! Which I have posted a link to on another post! Apart from the practical elements, of course there was lectures!
