any comments, advice, suggestions?

...as you ask...

Firstly, congratulations on getting so far in what looks like a very ambitious, relatively low budget project. Also, as a movie-goer, I love a bit of swords and sorcery so this is right in my sweet spot. However, while I was watching it, as a viewer, I did not feel I would buy it or see it if it meant spending money. If it was on Netflix, for example, I might watch it.

I am comparing this with the highest standards of filming and by this, I mean mainstream productions with good budgets.

When I analyse this, as a film maker, I think three things:

- Sound (dialogue!)
- Lack of movement. The actors look really static as if they are scared to move around. This is the 'strangeness' that I am picking up as a viewer.
- The VFX is good (I especially like the smokey thing coming through the window) and the distant shot of the castle is almost real but the green screen looks green screen in some places. It needs something, maybe a little extra blending to make it 'perfect.'

Look forward to the next trailer and seeing you take it to the next level. If you are in post, it is probably too late to direct the actors but I would suggest getting a bit more movement rather than just standing there talking.
