I have been under the impression that the Mouse House recouped its $4 billion purchase price with the new trilogy, but this Forbes article says otherwise. I'm not up on this, but it seems that the trilogy made the money, then the subsequent movies bombed, creating the loss. In any case, considering all the problems the company is having, the Force doesn't seem to be with it.
