Hello everyone,
I really would like to go to a filming school in NYC, do you guys recommend anyone in particular? I plan to be a director one day, and I need a school that fits me. Also, what do you think these colleges look for on my transcripts? Grades? Extra Circular Activities? Anything in particular? Thanks, everyone!

Hey Phil. I know that NYU Film school is one of the best in the world. I am not too familiar with any of the art institutes in the NYC area. However, as for entrance requirements? Well, first off, most film schools (in colleges, not institutes) generally dont let you apply until your junior year in college. And when you do, they do look at your grades and what ever else criteria they require, usually a portofilo. Your best bet is to google film schools in NY, and read their entrance requirements if you want to get the most detailed response. Good luck
