thank you sir, uhm,, i actually have a question with that. I shot it with a D5000 Nikon, I was setting things manually (aperture, shutter speed, iso) but only ISO seems to make a change in the actual footage. am i doing something wrong? is anyone familiar w/ this dslr model?

to really know if something is for you, you got to do it and see if you enjoy it. Practice, make it a hobby, etc. sooner or later you will realize for yourself what you really want to do, but again to reach this point. you have to do it, make videos
