    Who here is on myspace?

I've never gotten a gig directly from my myspace page. I sell turn-key ad campaigns though and witht hat comes my building their social networking. Potential clients seeing my social networking from my site helps sell that in.

What do you prefer?: Youtube vs. Vimeo

well, unless your content is longer than 10 minutes. Without a special account, you can't do that with youtube. vimeo has no running time restrictions... just file size limits. I use both in many cases but Vimeo is far superior for many reasons.

well, as mentioned, Keylight is a great plugin. as far as rendering a quicktime, you simply select that instead of an avi and pick the codec you wanna use. The animation codec is generic so if it goes without crashing, you know it was the codec you chose when rendering your avi file.

Shoot with sun behind or in front

Don't underestimate the power of post production. When color grading, you can always mask out the pricipals and enhance them only. This allows you to not wash out your pretty back ground while making them the best they can be.

Best Way to Handle Difficult Actors 101

Why would anyone put up with that? If I have an actor or anyone else not making things easier for me, I simply send em packing so I can get some work done. Hired help is suppose to help, not hender. This lady hired a guy with a sledge hammer to make a brick wall. This is her failure, not the...

What do you prefer?: Youtube vs. Vimeo

vimeo allows me to password protect my clips for client approval. It also lets me replace the video file without having to change any embedding or linkage I may have promoted. It does keep a watermark on my clips either. I appriciate that. I can put my reel and everything else there and embed it...

    Color key test

Probably the codec combo with the avi. Try a mov with the animation codec to ensure that's what it is. I'm not recognizing the rez size you have. Did you mean 1080X720? This is not what's crashing it. Just curious. Also, be aware that AE's color hey is not great. It's good for reducing...

    Got some ideas?

Lovin' the vibe. Wobble the wheels a bit and it'll look more like the bus is rolling. It kind of adds a comedic nature to it too. me likey though

    Color Correction Properly?

Go by your eye but when onlining, you'll drive by your scopes. From the bits I watched of your clip, other than the blacks being crushes, it wasn't so much bad color correction, but no lighting. All the faces are too dark. IN these cases, you'll want to mak the dark spots you want to brighten so...

    production company vs freelancer

I'm pointing out that being a production facility is sometimes a handicap. While required to bid on many jobs, sometimes it's best to be known as a freelancer. Walking a fine line is important for the one man bander. Walking on the beach is always good too.

    production company vs freelancer

Many of us are one man bands. Sometimes I find myself freelancing, not working as a production company. By that, production companies are always threatened by feeding competitors so I changed the whole vibe of my site to vary away from looking like a production company and more like a dude with...
