Lighting workshops?

Hey all,

Was wondering if anybody knows of any one day or weekend lighting seminars around LA? I haven't had any luck finding anything through Google or other search engines. I know there's a few books and videos out there, but I think I'd learn a lot more in a hands-on setting. I'm shooting on DSLR, if that makes any difference on recommendations.
