misc About Coverfly

Hey, I’m new to Indietalk, this is my first post. I wanna ask (I guess it’s been asked before) about Coverfly for screenwriters. I use it and have participated in a few competitions, mostly with shorts (I haven’t written a full feature yet), but I’m not sure if Coverfly alone can be a sufficient platform for writers to make the transition from "aspiring" to "professional."

Have you used Coverfly? If so, what’s your perspective on it?

Coverfly has a reasonably good reputation. It can help you
find competitions and festivals. It has a peer-to-peer option
so you can offer notes to other writers. It has a database where
"industry professionals" can look for screenplays.

But the harsh reality is professionals go to established agents
not on line databases. However, aspiring producers might look
for scrips there.

It's free and can only hurt your chances if the screenplay you
upload to their database isn't excellent. It can't hurt...
