critique 1-Page drama seeking critique

I think it's good, although you might consider tweaking the very end slightly.

If it were me, I'd give Nic the last word, perhaps "screw you" or something similar. But that's just a slight quibble - I like it and look forward to seeing it when you're done.

Well, I'm too late. Have a good shoot today.
One of the actresses just cancelled on me mid-route due to her babysitter having a personal emergency.
There's still time!

For the best probably...

I bought a boom pole to mount my light in the right place... but the mounting point is a cylinder, the light immediately swings upside down by gravity. What a frustrating piece of equipment.

I saw this (timestamped) pole on youtube and it doesn't have that problem at all!!
Awesome, I can order something like this before I film the scene now.

The script: no critique. A nice little piece.

Equipment: I can relate. Over the years I have purchased or DYI'd
stuff that didn't work the way I needed it to work. During my first
several years making film (on super8) I tried all kinds of methods
to get my lights in the perfect place. The light not staying in place
on a boom was a long time bugaboo. Used a lot of duct tape.

The people at BHPhoto were awesome, started a live chat and they showed me this mounting pin adaptor that will solve my issue.
Wish I didn't lose a whole foot of height, but it is what it is.
