AFTER EFFECTS lights

hi guys.

I just bought element 3D, I have after effects cc 2017 and I have a problem with E3D. When I create new solid layer, i place there element 3D and some 3D object, parallel and spot lifght are not working...they are working just when i set the solid into 3D. Can you help with this?

It seems you just fixed it yourself. Set it to 3D.

haha I need to work with that layer and if its in 3D I cant..I need that element layer in 2D

The lights only exist in 3D space so it makes sense for them to only work when the layer is 2D.

Pre-compose the layer if you need to work on it
