Computer question

Hi all,

I've seen bits of this covered in a few threads but have found nothing really concrete that would answer the following question:

What type of PC would be best suited to me if I wanted to edit footage shot on a Canon 60D with a view to professionally releasing it? It's not really a mish mash of processor speeds and hardware and stuff that I'm after, rather a specific make/model that someone might be able to suggest, that I could just go out and buy tomorrow, for example. I guess we're talking along the lines of £500 - £600 to spend.

Any advice / suggestions would be much appreciated.
