Accepting short film and documentaries submissions until May 31st
Each selected film will be aired along with a director's profile interview segment. A panel of industry professional judges selected by LA24 will vote the films. Votes will be cast and counted by July 27. The winners will be announced online at www.la24films.com on July 28th. An award and screening ceremony will take place in Hollywood on July 30th. Award categories: Best Film / Best Director / Best Actor / Best Actress / Best Photography and Best Original Screenplay.
After the exposition of the film for thousands of viewers on TV, the selected films will get a regular movie theatre screening for one weekend in Hollywood. How big is that!
"Inside the Marathon" is the show in Los Angeles for independent film professionals and enthusiasts. Every Sunday at 10pm and sporadically throughout the week. Tune in to Channel 36.
