New person joining this Forum

Hello. New to this craft, and am looking for information on how to film my own movie shorts from start to finish.

Other than having Final Draft software, I have no other equipment. Need suggestions on what kind of computer( or laptop) to purchase, along with editing software, and camera.

Not sure if I need lighting at this moment.

Any help would be most appreciated

I'd recommend getting a lighting kit for your vids. What's your budget?
