Guess some people have different eyes, indeed.

Better than a GH2, which gets into the territory of 10K~17.5K cameras, but worse than a 5D Which can't perform as well as a GH2.

It's a really interesting question. Whatever they did spend, you'd think Nikon would have been prepared to spend as necessary if that video is to be the D800's envoy to the world.
