Music Video -The Blah Boutique

Here's the latest music video for "Square Knot" by The Blah Boutique (my band).
http://youtu.be/Enke_aYkbe4

The concept for the video was developed by our singer/guitarist and I shot and edited it. Completely DIY, it was shot using a Panasonic AG-HMC150, DIY dolly, 3 Fluorescent lighting rigs. Our previous vids can be seen here: http://www.youtube.com/theblahboutique

I really like this, and I'm not one for watching, an almost, 5 minute music video! You have an innate sense of editing, the heart flaming out was magical, the music is hypnotizing and all the imagery really works very well. The thing I would lose are the flash frames, I know it's *edgy* to do them but I prefer straight jump cuts if you must have either.

Really nice work, congrats!

Thanks for the props (both musically and visually!). Great suggestion on the flash frames. Looking back at the previous 2 videos we've done, I realize that I definitely use the flash frames quite a bit. It's kind I funny to discover the unseen patterns/stylistic tweaks that emerge after hours of being buried in editing...
