And one from The Samurai a couple of days ago, apologies as some idiot took this on their iPhone...

I don't have permission to post anything about productions I'm on now,
but I can weasel up something:

Myself & the director of
something I can't show pics of right now
.

Coincidentally, we are both cast in a film later this year...

...in a boxing match against each other.

I'd totally kick his ass, yeah? :abduct:

...and yes, there's a reason I'm so scruffy & unkempt for the time being.

In three weeks, I'll be back to my dapper self:

Here are a couple of pics from shooting on my short film "The Golden Rule" which is still in the shooting phase of production.
Filming it on a Sony XD EX3, a very nice camera provided by the production company Digital Image http://www.digital-image.com.au/ who my dad works for

Follow me on Twitter http://twitter.com/joshwahr or Inglorious Fiction Studios http://twitter.com/THEIFSTUDIOS for updates and more photos to come! I will keep you guys posted on how it's going on here too!

(Apologies for the bad quality of the pics, they were taken on an iPhone by my boom mic operator)

Nick, I want my two slices and a knut, cuz I know which ones you! Cute brunette, with the skateboard, right? Dude, so you're shooting "The Samurai"? Awesome.

Cool thread, Vader.

First photo, from this year's 48HFP, "Pigs in a Blanket" (will be posting in screening room, next week). In this photo, you can see my super-fancy boom pole. We taped our mic to a broomstick (my friend who let's me use his nice boom-pole was using it, himself, on his own 48HFP.

You can also see our super-expensive light setup. Yes, that is a bedroom sheet being used for diffusion, with the blue gel in front of the sheet.

Also, see that little mini can of Coke? Those little 8oz cans are awesome. We devoured a case of them on this shoot.

And then, from the same shoot, this pic requires a setup. So, I needed a shot of my lead actress peaking through the blinds, taken from outside. By now, we've done three or four takes, as I keep trying to get a combination of the perfect shot that doesn't have my unsavory reflection in it. On the fourth of fifth take, our boom operator, Hunter (pictured above), thought we'd get a good laugh by introducing a guest star, Jean-Luc. I just about died laughing.

Since it's available on Playstation network, this month (also on many downloadable apps), here are some pics from EXILE.

Cargo bay sequence. That's me with the HVX200 and my trusty mic stand.

Beyond Redemption:

Can't post actual pics per my deal memo, not that I have that many good production pics. Usually too busy when things are cranking to break out my camera, but here are a couple that I like:

Same show as my c-stand thread. ;) Really wish I had taken more snaps of the car rig day. The guy they brought in to do the rigging was simply amazing.

My home 6 days a week since late July:

Guess my post got lost in the server issue, so...

Here are some stills from my last short, "Suffering Fools", which should premiere at the On Location Memphis Film Fest and then at the Oxford Film Fest.

The actors goofing around on set. Everyone was laughing the whole time, especially after the actor improvised a line and said "Yeah, so who's your naughty pirate?" during a take and the entire crew lost it. After 14-hours of constant shooting, we were getting delirious.

Great thread!

This is using a 400mm f/2.8 Lens along side an 85 1.2 for a scope shot in NOBLE.

Then there's my favorite set pic of all, the cast & crew after shooting Sixty Seconds.

Really wanted to shoot cheesy space opera/sci fi this weekend. Wrote up quick screenplay on lunch, stopped by at thrift store after work, and picked up few weird clothing items.

Got home and BAM!

Behold... Zanthora, rebellious princess, last known fighter for the human race..

cost me $10 lol

Shooting tomorrow!

The wall with the bars had bullet proof glass that we had to spend four hours busting out with a sledgehammer so we could run our cables into it. It was also murder getting good sound...six concrete surfaces makes for lots of echo. Plus it smelled like piss and slow death in that jail. No doubt haunted. Graffiti on those walls unsuitable for the internet. I made that t-shrit, too...it's the Clan Johnston tartan on the tongue.

A couple of stills from my recent one:

This one is a bit different, because it's me infront of the camera, although I did the edit, except for the muzzle flashes, dirt hits, blood hits and all that!

Im somewhat disappointed with the button prop, or rather, I did not capture it near well enough on film. That still shot is the BEST and almost ONLY image of the awesome prop.. This is my fault, I panicked on the set. I was running out of time and slashed a good 20 shoots from the schedule, inserts, ECU's etc all never filmed! This made the edit very tough, and not near as clean as I wanted it to be.. but all in all its still working..
