My first REAL animation in Maxon's Cinema 4D. I took a model of an Apache, recolored, parented rotors separately to be animated, and then did environment boxes around it for realistic reflection. Sky above, Iraqi buildings in front, and the Nevada desert below. Then i treated the entire model as a particle after I animated, and used the turbulence generator for particle emitters.

Cool! I am wondering about the particle emitters? I don't really see any particles in this video. What was that used for? I don't know much anout Cinema 4D but this is interesting.
I treated the Apache as a particle. Under the particle tab, there is a turbulence generator. I used it to create realistic turbulence. Cinema 4D is worth every penny. It has a little bit of compatibility with CADD, because of the wide variety of file types it supports.
Ok, the Apache is the particle. I know animations like this take a long time to render even if they are short. This is a good animation even though it is short. I have used Lightwave 3D, I think it is also compatible with CADD.
