Laptop suggestions?

Can anyone advise me on a good laptop for video editing? I'm looking for a PC format as well as a video card capable of providing a realtime preview window on a second monitor.
Thanks,
Dave

HP for me!

I’d like the second monitor also, however if you can live with just one screen I have a HP pavilion zt1155. I bought it from Circuit City and with a 5 year extended warranty. I replaced the ram to the max of 1GB and bought an external, fire wire HD with 400 GB for media storage and main scratch disk. I run the Adobe suite of programs (Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) and it works great. The only complaint is the 3 & ½” drive is external, and the sound output has a hum when the LCD is open. Hope this helps.

Have a look at the new Dell Precision M60. It's a bit pricey but based on the review at http://www.mediaworkstation.com/2003...cw_dellm60.htm it's seems to be worth it.
