Giant Robot Suit!
A fellow filmmaker in Ottawa (Brett Kelly) I know is selling a robot suit he used in 2 movies.
http://brettkelly.net/ironsoldier.html
You can walk around in the suit etc, for more info contact Brett at admin [-at-] brettkelly.net
He is asking around $2K for the suit (plus shipping i think) which is a steal considering he purchased it at $9,000
Cheers!

Undoubtedly the coolest thing I have seen for sale here.
Just out of curiosity I’d be interested in knowing like what it’s made of and how much it weighs,
how tall it is, how you get in and out of it etc -and even see it in some footage if possible.
-Thanks-

If, by "kind of" you mean "completely".

In an ideal world... I would totally buy that.
Sadly, that ideal world also involves me having a few extra grand to spare.

How much would you love to knock at your neighbors door with this on, to borrow a cup of sugar?

It's only partly Power Ranger...it's also very Voltron. Definitely cool for a stylized flick...it's too Japanimation to be taken seriously.

Actually, I was thinking it would almost be worth buying just to show up wearing it at my weekly "fun night" with my wife. Bet she'd get a bang out of it
So to speak...

You'll have to ask Brett on the weight etc...
As for footage --> http://www.mefeedia.com/watch/26134904

Yeah it does a few things in the movie but the trailer is not very revealing.
