Trailers - First Film, Second Film

Hey All!

So, here are the trailers for the two films I've made, both shorts.

The first, "The Quarter-Life Crisis," was finished in 2007 - here is the ooooooooold teaser trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9erYnZQXXOg

My second film, "Skin and Bone" was just finished in January, and here is the trailer for it: http://vimeo.com/4804366

I'm definitely a new filmmaker, and each film has been sort of a trial and error learn-as-you-go kind of experience. I think we're getting better=)

Hope you like the trailers!

I thought the second was much much cleaner. Reminded me of 'Crash'. Didn't like the split screen at the end.

Hmm - fair enough, about the multiple screens... You know, depending on who we're talking about here, the "Crash" comparison could be a good or a bad thing...

Thanks for the feedback! The first movie, trailer included, I believe we were definitely still in "I can't believe we actually made a movie" mode, so it doesn't tell you much about it.

We're making progress...

The trailer looks great. I agree on it looking similar to crash. Looks more professional to me than the first. Good luck.

Hmm that's two for Crash - I didn't see trailers for it because I was in school at the time, and didn't do a lot else but, like Crash, "Skin and Bone" is definitely an ensemble piece, and I wanted that to really be the highlight. So, hopefully that's what the trailer comes across as showing.

Less racism in our film=)

Thanks a lot for watching! We're pretty happy with the movie itself - it's been to a couple festivals, one that we went to and had a fantastic response from a full audience, and another where it won an award. Hopefully it'll make it to a few more. We've also had two good reviews so far, and are hoping, again, for a couple more! So, hopefully it'll attract attention and, who knows, maybe some people will purchase it.

If you'd like any more info, the website is http://www.milkandcookieproductions....inandbone.html

Thanks again!
