camera FPS effect

hello people :-)

i've watched "What's in the Box?" ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IU_reTt7Hj4 ), and i wonder how they did that?

i have 5d mark II and want to try to do something like that, do you have any ideas about FPS effect achieved in this short?

it's pretty much what it looks like. Hold the camera to your face. But this film is combined from multiple takes, similar to some of the uber-long set pieces in "Children of Men"

Are you thinking of the Heads Up Display stuff? Pretty nifty I thought, makes me wish I had a Computer\Brain interface ..

With software like After Effects, that would be pretty easy composting. I like the bit where he picks up the cell phone and gets an overlay of its current status...

You can see something similar in Fight Club near the beginning, as the main character is describing picking just the right sofa.. its not a HUD, its more like a IKEA catalog.. neat effect..
