Great Free Cinematography Tutorials Online!
This is a series of Cinematography Tutorials, that teach lighting techniques, and shot composition as well as shot design for video, films, music videos, commercials etc... I added these because Ive been getting a lot of question from people regarding how I produce the kind of images found in all my work. The tutorials are shot on the Red One camera, Canon 7D and Canon XH A1 as well as HVX200 with the RedRock Micro adapter:

Great tricks! I'm learning all by my self so it's great to have some input from people who know what they are doing!
I was thinking to buy that Canon 7D to replace my xha1. Your stuff convinced me to make the move.
Cheers

Only had time to watch the first one, but it was great.
Looks like an awesome set of tutorials you have there.

Ya, this was a simple, informative tutorial--and I like the angle you took with it (no pun intended).
The only thing I would have changed, is not using the vignetting...or at least explain it if you use it.
Thanks. I'll be watching the other two shortly.
Seriously, keep them coming. Not enough good film vid tuts out there.

Nicely done representation of "cinematography as problem solving." Thx too for the Chris Doyle side link!

Nice work. Adding what appear to be a set of led string lights b/n the guitarist and the camera made for an interesting effect in the 2nd one. Nice reminder that there are quick practical solutions for lots of things that folks would try to do in AE sometimes.

Very cool! Nice to see how just pointing the camera differently can completely change a scene.

The little touches of color with the $6 lights was a really nice thing to present as well. Shows how light color can define space in the frame as well. I love these!

I loved this tip too.
I have these for my house...but now I see how useful they can be on set. Buying another package of four...
