Something to See

The other day in the local library I found a copy of: A Decade Under the Influence, The 70's flims that changed everything.
It's three hours of the best interviews with Hollywood insiders I've ever seen.

It airs on Encore/Cinemax on occasion. Very interesting.

If you get a chance you should also see "The Cutting Edge: The Magic of Movie Editing." The history is interesting (before sound most editors were women as editing was considered akin to sewing... After sound editing was considered "technical" and became mans work...) and Walter Murch discusses in very broad strokes his approach to editing.
