Most Disturbing Film You've Ever Seen
I know the topic is a little open ended, but I'm just trying to put some feelers out to see what different people think is the most "disturbing" film they've ever seen. That could mean emotionally disturbing, it could mean scary, or a film that struck you deeply because it hit home. What is the most disturbing film you've ever seen?
One of my top choices would be Happiness. Great film, but definitely less than an enjoyable experience. It's a movie you have to steel yourself up to watch.
What about you guys?

"Happiness", is in my top five favorite movies all time, seen it probably 10 times. It is disturbing, brilliantly so. I'll say "Fat Girl" or "À ma soeur!". The ending is SO out of left field, SO unexpected that you are just dazed for a while after it's over.

28 Days Later.
Weird one I know, but it was just one scene that did it for me. The part were the armed forced were going to rape the two chicks in the castle and one of them was like 12. They took it really close.
Gutterballs.
If you haven't seen this movie, you should, but be ready. We see penis, vag, 4 dudes raping a chick. A tranny, the slicing of a penis. Death but 69. It is a messed up movie.

Slaughtered Vomit Dolls was pretty 'out there'
Some of the August Underground series goes there as well
It is rather tame by comparison, but for some reason I can't expain -- the ending of "The Doom Generation" left me with a very unsettled feeling.
I thought the fire extinguisher scene in Irreversible was the best use of CGI in a film in recent memory.

Just laughing because I have a topless tranny with C+ implants in my movie.

I must be the only person that wasn't fazed by Happiness.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Henry Portrait of a Serial Killer are two of my most disturbing films. Natural Born Killers still knocks me out.
I've gotten into a ton of trouble over Martyrs. Spatula what is the philosophical ending of Martyrs? I'm sure I won't agree, but interested in knowing. If you don't want to put Spoilers in a comment PM me.

Spoiler: Well, after the hour or so of near-torture-porn and violence you find out that it was all being done by a small group of people who have been torturing people to the closest point of death so that they can see what's on "the other side". Then, the main girl gets skinned alive to that point and is still able to communicate and she gets the "look" in her eyes, so that the old group of old people meets and it's a big deal, cause they're all gonna find out what happens when they die. You get a glimpse of an abstract light pattern and then the girl whispers what she saw on the other side into the old woman's ear- and though we never get to hear what she said, the looks of horror on all the people's faces was just the most disturbing thing I've ever seen. Everyone at the film festival was just silent (an unusual thing for a film festival crowd!) and just palled. It was crazy. Just so poignantly vague and yet dark and just.... gah! Creepy!
