We're looking to purchase this camera, (Panasonic AG-HVX205A P2 HD Camcorder ), and are wondering if this is a good deal on a camera in the $2k-$4k range. We are aware that the lens in not something that can be switched out, but there are adaptive lenses available for it, and if anyone has information on that type of thing, I'd be glad to hear of it.

These are part of a package deal. While the camera we're working with now, a Sony V1U has the ability to change the lens, we don't have anything for it, so we're wondering if this is a viable option.
We realize this is not the absolute best option, but are curious to know if this is a good work around for the price range, and something comparable to the Sony we currently have. If you have any suggestions, or information you'd like to share, please do so.
