I know there's more than one sci-fi nerd on this forum who owes this man a thanks for kickstarting that imagination into high orbit. There wouldn't have been the
Spoiler: butchery of the classic book "
Make Room! Make Room!" into the film known as "
Soylent Green", without this man.
My personal fave of his was "
Bill the Galactic Hero" and to hell with the terrible sequels!
Another certain forum member was all about "
Deathworld". I hope his dream eventually comes true, and the film gets funded.
At any rate... we've lost another sci-fi giant.
Or maybe he's just faked his death to collect on an insurance scam with
'Slippery' Jim DiGriz. Who can know for sure?
