IT for my day job means Information Technologies.

H44 may want to try Adobe Premiere Elements over the professional version and set it up for Beginners Mode where it makes decisions for him. There is an expert mode for the advanced editors to do their tasks manually for greater control. It should save H44 time and leave him with less questions for this board.

Well, I followed through and bought this very laptop with a Blu-ray burner drive, Wacom Tablet, and the mentioned software packages. It took nearly two weeks of after work time to get all the software installed with all the updates and hardware device software installed from the proper manufacturers. But, it's working out great and I subscribed to the HitFilm channel on YouTube. Great tutorials on how to use the software, HitFilm Professional 2017.
