T3i storage card

Hi,

What's the clip size/space limit of Canon ESO Rebel T3i. I am asking to know the minimum capacity of the SD card.

Thanking you in anticipation,

Regards,

Riz

Clips on the T3i are pretty big if you shoot full HD video. I would get at least two SD cards, preferably 32gb but 16gb will cut it if that's all you can afford, although on long shoots you'll need something to dump the footage onto so you can clear the cards and re-use them. The more/bigger cards, the better so you don't have to scramble to delete footage.

12 minutes in full HD or 4GB is the maximum video clip size.

Do you mean maximum capacity?

No the minimum capacity that would be workable.

Right now I have 4GB Class 4 card. Is that of any use?

Your User Manual should say that Class 6 is the minimum speed needed to capture video properly.

Class 10 SDHC cards only cost a trivial amount more than Class 6, so might as well take advantage of them.
