whatever you like. The way the Bible spells it is with a k.

Maybe an intro logo could be Noah gathering film equipment inside an ark, to protect it from a storm (and 2 of every kind of animal with rabies, but that's pushing it)

When it comes to protecting your assets, each project has to have it's own LLC, and therefore it's own name. Whether you do the LLC or not, having a bunch of films under one name sets you up for financial wipe out.

You're not Warner Bros., so why should you risk losing your house and cars because of a newly discovered legal blunder you did several films ago? Protect your ass. New name for every project.

Good luck.

If a simple search of a company comes up with no results on a search engine you should easily be able to claim that you came up with the name first. Eg when making Mile Creations there was a Zero-Mile Creations but nothing else remotely similar

http://www.linkedin.com/company/ark-entertainment

not sure if that company holds the copyright for that name or not....

but Arc Entertainment seems to be a mildly successful one, and probably does.

http://www.arc-ent.com/

Ya might wanna research Ark a little

Even if they don't have copyright on it, the name already exists and it would be risky. Completely original names are always cool

I looked up Ark on the U.S. Trademark Website, and it says their copyright has been dead for around 12 years.

If anyone wants to see what my first scripted short film is, take a look at my new youtube! Here's the link:

How is it for being my first real film? Remember, I'm only 14!

You can put the ownership of each film you make under a different LLC to protect yourself, but there's nothing saying that can't have an "agreement" with yourself to put your special logo at the beginning of your films. The logo doesn't automatically mean ownership.
