You have more experience than me in making film, so take the following as the opinion of a layman.

My recommendation would be to remove superfluous repetition. That way, the pace would be faster, allowing you to better keep the viewers' attention. The surviving guy was angry a lot. I felt that it was longer than it had to be to tell the story.

I got the sense in the very beginning of the film that the one guy was a figure of the other guy's imagination - that it was all an hallucination. I suspect you wanted me to realise that later, but you didn't fool me.
