How do you think the future of screenwriting will look like?

I mean on short and long term...Give your thoughts on various aspects of this " trade"...:) (example: the access to filmmakers, the selling price for a screenplay, the screenwriter's role, etc.)

I think one day Screenwriters will look like hired Newspaper writers. No ideas of your own. Write what the guy with they money wants and have profit. I look at the modern big feature movies, and I find out that the ideas behind those movies come from:
1) - Comics
2) - Novels
3) - Previously successful movies (as Remakes)
