Just wanted to tell you all about a filmmaking vlog I'm starting up.
Since I've been uploading my shorts to the net I've had a lot of questions about techniques and equipment I've used. I like answering these and helping others.
So I decided to make my own filmmaking vlog series. I know there are a ton of these type of webisodes, but I thought I'd start by answering some of the recurring questions. Whilst giving out tips and advice I will also be documenting the latest film I'm making so you get a insight to how I work.
I plan on uploading a new entry every Sunday, and a bloopers reel every Wednesday (I found out I make a lot of funny mistakes whilst talking to the camera). The Introduction entry is already up on my Youtube page I've called the series Diary of a Filmmaker
I'm working on the new episode which will cover story developing and I'll be giving out some tips on how to get "that film look" on your mini DV camera.
