A few years ago one of my military trucks (2 1/2 ton cargo truck AKA a "Deuce and a half") was used in an independent film titled "Dixie Times".
My son and I were extras (I drove the deuce and he rode shotgun) and it was a pretty cool father and son experience.
I became good friends with the writer/director/actor Ken Wheeler and the film is finally ready to be shown to the public (there were some post production sound issues). Ken literally sold the farm to make this movie.
If you are in the Atlanta area on the 19th of this month (April) and would like to support Ken you can follow the link to get tickets. There is a map to the theatre there also.
Here is more information:http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1276949/
Here is the movie's facebook link:https://www.facebook.com/pages/Dixie...ie/61373638193
Here is the link for tickets:http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/363495
Thanks
