Need subplot for film

Hi,

This is my first ever post on this site and I am looking for help in order to create my screenplay, I have a plot inspired by the Legend of Spyro by I need help creating a filler as I don't want to copy the game due to copyright, but take elements of it and add it in, I am not sure how to do this as there is a small margin to this.

If anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated.

what you need is called a subplot
filler sounds like its a waste of everyones time.

so what other characters besides the MC can you develop?

Well, there is five other characters:

SP is secondary protagonist
MP is main protagonist
MA is main antagonist
SA is secondary antagonist

Mike - SC
Kate - MC
Phoenix - SC
Joe - SC
Brad - SC
Rob - SA then to MC
Chester - MA

I like when a movie has a cool, well developed antagonist.

How much of the current plot gives him his own screen time away from the hero?
