Mediocre Composer Looking for Opportunities

Hello!

Let me first say that I am very excited that I discovered these forums, and I am looking forward to interacting with the film community -- a group I am starting to show interest in now. I should also mention that some of my music has passed hands with advertisers and even was considered by the Olympic Games last year, but the truth is that I am really nothing at all and I just want to find some professional film producers (anywhere from indie to beyond) who could possibly use my work.

If you guys have anything in mind or perhaps there are some opps that may be in the works soon, I would very much appreciate any help you can give me. I have plenty of music to show off, but getting actual work has been the challenge for me. My music, as you will hear, is more attuned to dramatic or emotional scenes; and it is difficult for commercial use. That is why I am hoping to find some film projects in the future.

To make a long story short: I want to build relationships in the industry and use my music for something that matters. I think I've typed enough for now, so here are a few examples of my work.

You can, of course, listen to more of my stuff there on SoundCloud. Hopefully my work will appeal to someone in the know. :)

Welcome to IT!

Hahaha, calling yourself mediocre does catch the eye, but isn't really selling yourself ;)

There is nothing mediocre about your music samples JonBabb... and if you don't mind working with a mediocre animation producer, there is an animatic almost ready for some test music, especially a solo lyre. Interested?

I am, actually! I would be interested in learning more about this and any other future projects that may be in the works!
