I am currently in Pre Production of a short film that I have written, and will also have a hand in directing, and writing the score. I am going to read for the lead character, however, he needs to have a bit of a New England accent. Any one know of any coaching video's or anything on this subject?

One of my actors got this "Acting Dialects by David Alan Stern" from the internet. She showed it to me and it looked good. It comes with audio clips to guide you through the booklets and it features a lot of accents (british, scottish and around 12 others). I'd recommend it if you can get hold of a copy.
